Clasp Fastening Spotted Plimsolls (Younger Girls)

These were exactly what I have been looking for, for my my 4 year old daughter. My daughter has a trouble with the rip-tape type plimsolls coming undone but these fit lovely and are easily secured with the clip. I don't have the issue reported in the other review and would highly recommend.

Easily as good quality as clark's doodles and half the price. my 3 year old has many pairs. The clasp does not affect her so easy to do up.

Earlier in the year I purchased two pairs of these clasp fastening plimsoles ahead of the spring/summer season. When my daughter came to wear one of the pairs this week it was very difficult to close the claps on the shoes and my daughter cried when I did so due to the pressure on her foot as I forced the clasp closed. I thought they might ease up the more she wore them but after two more attempts my daughter was so distressed she refused to let me put them on her as she appeared in quite a lot of pain. I am unable to put my finger behind the clasp to stop them hurting her as this makes them too loose for her to wear without them slopping. I really love the style and look of these shoes (I have several other pairs of m&s kids shoes which I have been very impressed with) but would ask m&s to perhaps consider an alternative fastening such as Velcro in future. As it is I have one pair slightly worn and one unworn which are now both going to waste.
