Chuck-on Coat

A brilliant idea for days when wanting to be relaxed but on trend. Good colour, easy fit and goes with everything. I love It!

Exactly as described, a throw on coat! Very smart looking and the right weight for this time of year. Tends to crease a little bit but nevertheless would recommend this coat.

I was disappointed with this coat. Unlined and in thin fabric I did not think it of the usual high quality I find in M&S. I do not think the description of it as a 'coat' conveyed the very lightweight nature of the item. At full price this was not good value. I had a 50% off offer but was still disappointed.

The cost is good value with 50% off but I would have returned it has it been full price. The colour, length and sleeve length are all good but the shoulders slip even with a jumper underneath and would be better with a little shoulder pad. Never the less it's useful to have and I'm sure I'll wear it often.

I would really love to have an easy to wear, versatile coat like this but the quality is poor, it's unlined and the sleeves way too long. Come on M & S, you can do better than this!

I saw this in my local store but had to order online as my size was not available in store. So disappointed when it arrived as the quality was not as good as the instore one. I may just have been unlucky, so that is why I would recommend it, as it is a really smart comfortable jacket. Will be returning it and choosing something else.

Was really looking forward to getting what I thought was going to be a great addition to my wardrobe but unfortunately I didn't keep it. In my opinion, it's cheap looking fabric, creased badly, poorly made, not worth the money. In short, very disappointed. Come on M&S, you can do better than this!

This coat is really handy to throw on when you need more than a cardigan. Good quality and nice texture to material. I’m 5’6”and the length is lower hip it was good value for money as I bought it on 20% event

I had a navy duster coat in the late 50s and loved it. This seemed similar although shorter so was looking forward to trying it on. First of all wasn't keen on the material and the sleeves were about 4 or 5 inches too long, I know they could have been shortened but I just wasn't keen on the coat so was disappointed. Really wanted a coat that I could just chuck on.

This jacket is lovely however the sizings are too big - I am a normal size 12 however this felt huge on me, was very unflattering and the sleeves were to long.
