A full flavoured red wine with aromas of intense morello cherry fruit and spice, and rich flavours of ripe berry, liquorice and cinnamon on the palate.
Fully ripe Grenache and Syrah grapes were hand picked from bush wines in selected vineyards overlooking the church of Cairanne, in the hearth of the Rhône valley. Winemaker Eric Monnin carefully matured a portion of the blend in French oak barriques to add richness and complexity.
