I don’t think I’ve ever been on holiday without at least a couple of really good white shirts in my luggage. It’s so lovely to throw one on over a bikini in the morning for breakfast on the beach; or for later if my skin has had a little too much sun; or even to be saved for the journey home to amplify a tan before being met at the airport. It’s a trusted, timeless classic and it can’t fail to put you in the holiday mood.
