I’m one of those people who can’t smell a heavily perfumed rose without making an embarrassing sound of pure joy, so for me, the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist is a firm favourite. Named, unsurprisingly, after its key ingredient, this light, super-fine spray smells intoxicatingly of rose (it contains rosa centifolia and rosa damascena essential oils), plus it has a wonderful blend of Australian biodynamic botanicals, such as marshmallow and aloe. It works to improve skin tone, moisture levels and skin balance – a quick spritz before moisturiser will boost hydration – or if you’ve over-powdered, it will help bring back a dewy glow. But apart from all that, the smell is just so very, very good.
