Treat yourself
on Halloween

The scariest night of the year is just a week away. If you’re planning a party, why not take the pressure off pudding with this frighteningly tasty chocolate orange tart and our two-minute Halloween hack

Whether you’re celebrating with a full-on fancy dress bash or a fun dinner party, remove the catering fear factor with a ready-made dessert. This sweet pastry case smothered in smooth chocolate and orange filling is definitely more treat than trick and, with the simple addition of an icing sugar spider’s web, it’s Halloween-ready in an instant. Simply fold a square of paper diagonally and then in half again. Fold down one side of the triangle to meet the long bottom edge, trim the excess and then cut slices out of the folded edge, making sure that you don’t cut all the way through. Unfold the paper, place the cobweb template over your tart and dust with icing sugar.
