CREATE A FESTIVE CENTREPIECE

Design a beautiful centrepiece for your festive table with hip London florist Florence Kennedy’s insider tips and exclusive how-to video – or browse our striking ready-made bouquets

TOP TIPS
1. Put a ball of chicken wire in your vase – it helps keep the stems stable so they don’t fall to the side.
2. Start with roses and mix in things from the garden like holly and astrantia. I love flowers to look as natural as possible and not too manicured.
3. I use a lot of herbs like rosemary – they add interest and scent. It’s all very well looking good, but you want your arrangement to smell good as well.
4. Offshoots from other plants make lovely little elegant finishes when you tuck them into more structured arrangements.
