Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180C fan. Unroll the
ready-rolled puff pastry (1 sheet)
onto a parchment-lined sheet. Score a line 1.5cm from the edge and prick all over in the centre with a fork.
2.
Slice the
M&S king spring onions (1 bunch)
very thinly into rounds.
3.
Sprinkle the
M&S 3-year-old Cornish Cruncher vintage cheddar (50 g)
all over the middle of the pastry then arrange the onions on top.
4.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Brush the edge of the pastry and on top of the onions with the
milk (30 mL)
.
5.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is cooked through.
6.
Dress the
watercress (80 g)
with
lemon (1/2)
and a drizzle of
M&S unfiltered extra virgin olive oil (as needed)
and serve alongside the tart.
