Cooking Instructions

Sift the
flour (135 g)
,
pumpkin spice seasoning (2 g)
,
baking powder (4 g)
,
salt (3 g)
and
sugar (20 g)
into a large bowl.

In a separate bowl or jug, lightly whisk together the
milk (130 mL)
and
egg (1)
. Next add the melted
butter (30 g)
and whisk again.

Pour the milk, egg and butter mix into the flour mixture. Beat until the batter is smooth.

Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and melt a knob of butter. Add a ladle of mix to the pan and cook.

Once bubbling, turn over and cook until both sides are golden. Repeat until you have used all the mix.

To make the honey and pumpkin spice glaze, mix together the
M&S pure honey (20 g)
and
pumpkin spice seasoning (6 g)
.
7.
For the apples, melt a knob of butter in a frying pan. Add the
apples (8)
, season with salt and cook for a few minutes.
8.
Add the honey and pumpkin spice glaze mix and
maple syrup (15 mL)
and then cook until the apples are caramelised and softened.
9.
Top the pancakes with the apples and some extra glaze.
