Welt Pockets Blazer with New Wool

I am really pleased with this suit. It looks more expensive than it actually is on the outside (the lining not so much though). The cut is great and the colour is really nice. As most other people have found, there is a stupid label on the cuff which is difficult to get off. I was really careful trying to remove it with an unpicker and it still left a few pulls in the material so I'm not so pleased with that. I'm not really sure why they feel that they need to put this on..? With respect to the trousers, they are a good fit in the leg and bum department. They are a little high I think so if you're the sort of person that likes to tuck your shirt in to your trousers then you might find them a little mumsie (I tend to leave my shirts/tops out over the top). If this suit was also available in other colours I would definitely be tempted to buy another as overall I am very pleased with it. It looks sharp and I find that's something which is hard to achieve with a lot of the women's suits that are available at the moment.

The pure wool label on the sleeve was impossible to remove without marking the jacket. Thread holes remained and therefore I returned it. This is a real pity because the jacket itself was made of really nice fabric. Why sew a label on the sleeve of the jacket in the first place?

Higher price band blazer, but left & right hand fronts of jacket are different lengths. I will be returning this item.

Sometime I am a 14 other times a 16 so I went for the 16 to ensure plenty of room. Because of the tailored fit it was far too tight. I also dislike the lining, it looks like a bit of old curtain material.

Struggled to find a nice suit - saw this in the shop and then later ordered. This looks so much nicer than the other jackets at M&S. It looks expensive, stylist and very professional. The trousers are not a great fit - typical M&S trousers - a bit too momsy. And annoyingly they don't highlight on their site which trousers go with this jacket.

Beautiful jacket but, disgracefully, a large cotton label is firmly sewn on to the outside of one sleeve, almost impossible to remove without damaging the fabric.
