I first saw this coat on the M&S website in mid January and it looked good so I persuaded my husband to include it in my already big birthday list. Unfortunately they were out of stock of my size for ages and my birthday went by without being able to order it. Then a couple of weeks ago it showed up on the website again and it had been reduced to half price. My husband had a M&S voucher and I had one as well so we ordered the coat qualifying for free delivery to our house. A couple of days later it arrived and I couldn't wait to try it on. It fits me perfectly, I am really over the Moon with it. It feels great and looks as if it was made especially for me. Excellent value for money especially with the vouchers and the price reduction. A really lovely and expensive looking coat.

Yes - "long coat". This is it's style. Very long overcoats have not been fashionable and I love long coats. Snapped it up whenI saw it late last year! Fab to wear - makes one feel elegant. And with wool -even better. I bought at full price and was a bargain then. Wear it all the time - even though it has not been very cold and I get complements too!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

There is a very long opening at the back that is not shown on the pictures. It kind of defeats the purpose of a long winter coat. It means that if you wear a short dress underneath your legs will be fully exposed. The fit is also a bit strange. I am a size 8 with a slim waist and the coat was wide at the waist and tight at the hips. I liked the overall look but because of these details I knew I would not have many occasions to wear it. Taking the price into consideration I thought it would be more reasonable to return it.

Love this coat and have been looking for something like it for a long time. If you want to wear anything like a jumper under it then size up! It is tailored correct to size sure, but snug across my admittedly wide back, if wearing much under it. The vent up the back gives this coat a lovely flow when you walk. Shame this isn't shown in the photos as I nearly didn't buy it until I went into store and saw it! Love it though - definately a keeper!!

Really nice coat, good quality, and the fit was fine except that the coat was too long on me at 5' 5" so unfortunately I had to return it.

This is a truly beautiful coat - if only it had fitted my womanly figure!!! As a previous review stated - wonderful if you have a boyish figure. Absolutely devasted that I have to return this well made, classic garment. Keep on producing gorgeous clothes such as this M&S and you will be back up there in no time - where you deserve to be!!!
