Boys' Slim Leg Trousers with Length Options

These are great quality and I love the fact that you can order in different lengths, it meant I could order the exact age but with a longer length - great fit all round.

Buying trousers for my tall skinny son has become an increasing nightmare. By buying extra long leg trousers it means I can buy a smaller waist size so don't have to gather them in too much. The slim leg also means he won't look swamped in them, an added bonus!

Love these trousers. Just such a Shane the stock levels are always zero for the size I need. If they sell that well why not have more available M&S?

My son grows upwards but not outwards so to be able to get extra long trousers still with an adjustable waist is a life saver. Please keep selling these.

In principle, the Extra Long length is great for long and lean boys - however, even the Extra Long leg length stops at 34" inside leg, and does not increase after 14-15 year size. My son needs 36" inside leg, and could get away with the 30" waist given the elastication (he really needs 28"). However, although the waist size increases from 14-15 to 15-16, the length stays static. Why?

my son is 7 and VERY skinny and tall for his age. I cant fid trousers that fit his waist and is long enough. I can go down to an age 6-7 and they are more than long enough! I really wish that M&S would do their normal range of trousers in more length options.

Like other reviewers, I have a son who is tall but very skinny and buying suitable trousers was becoming a nightmare. Buying the extra long leg means I can buy a smaller size waist but know it's going to fit for length. Also means I don't have to gather the waist anywhere near as much, which affects the look of the trousers when worn. Happy Mum!

I bought these for slim tall 15year old because the Skinny fit trousers senior boys were out of stock in black from age 12 upwards on line and I like the fact that I could get age 14-15 with a length up to 34" inside leg. The product photo is more true than the description, they are straight rather than slim, with an ankle width wider than my M&S Classic chinos. They were flapping on his legs, and completely out of fashion and I had to return them. They were also very thin material. Hope M&S can get the Flat Front Skinny trousers in black back in again, with a longer length option too!

Really pleased with this trousers and thanks to M&S for selling these extra long sizes!
