Bouclé Overcoat with Wool

been keeping my eye on this coat ,would not pay full price , however in sale at £69 fab, need to get sleeves altered but am delighted

Beautiful coat need a smaller size looks so smart on.

elegant appearance. flattering style on a short stocky lady. warm colour. Comfortable to wear with a fabric that creases drop from quite easily. would be pleased to buy the same style in another colour.

This coat looks good quality, it is in a lovely red and the bouclé fabric is great but in my view the dropped shoulder line gives it a droopy look. For this reason I'm afraid it will have to be returned. Pity, as but for this design feature it would have been a lovely coat. .

The clean lines and the clear, true red colour looked promising when I ordered online but, sadly, it didn't quite work for me. The combination of no lapels and the rounded, drop-shoulders made me look as if I was wearing a very, very nice dressing gown. On the plus side, this is a well-made coat in a lovely colour and the medium-weight material is robust without being scratchy. I was worried that the boucle might catch too easily but I can't see that being a problem. I've tried a few M&S coats this season and keep coming up against the same problem with the shoulders: my bad luck, I guess, but this could look stunning on the right person.
