Lighter and finer than its predecessor, but this is an ideal replacement. And it may actually be smarter!

I bought my husband this waistcoat as he likes to carry all his bits and pieces in one place on holiday (very useful at Airport Security) - I had looked at last year's M&S version but didn't buy it as it didn't have enough pockets. This year's version, however, came with some 8 external pockets (4 with zips, 4 with button closure) and 1 small mesh internal one - much better than his previous waistcoat (bought elsewhere) which had velcro fastenings - not so secure and stuck to everything! The stone colour goes with everything and it is easily washable.

I purchased this item to replace a 'fishing style' Gilet I purchased some years ago. The M&S Gilet is well made and stylish and does'nt have lots of little useless pockets that the fishing style ones have. It has large pockets ideal for wallet, passport etc. when travelling in hot weather when a jacket with sleeves is not so comfortable. I have'nt actually worn it yet as winter is still with us but I am certain it will be fine. A good fit as per the M&S sizing chart. The colour on the chart appears to be more pink but is actually 'stone' as described. Recommended.
