Pure New Wool Pinstriped Jacket

The quality of this garment is superb. The fabric is of supreme quality and the tailoring excellent. The darts on the jacket front are a work of art, not to say very flattering, especially when one realises that the fabric being worked is pinstripe. I can recommend without hesitation or reserve.

I agree with the previous reviewer that it is a bit on the small size across the chest but for someone such as myself with smaller hips than bust, at least the hips are not voluminous. As I tend to wear jackets open with a scarf this is not too much of a problem for me. While this is still in stock give it a try (even if you have to order a couple of sizes to be sure) because the material is beautiful and very lightweight and will be comfortably wearable into the warmer weather. Great value at this price and I would suggest of Jaeger quality. The same jacket in black is almost out of stock. This is a very dark navy (pinstripe obviously) and will dress up or down with dresses or jeans. I also thought it worth pointing out that this does have a top pocket which one of the photos doesn't show. I am loving the Best of British range and really hope it is supported for the quality of the fabrics - something a lot of us have cried out for in Marks and Spencer's clothing. Even my very picky husband now checks out Best of British on a regular basis.

Lovely quality wool but I felt rather trussed-up and restricted in this. It reminded me of a man's jacket. Bit tight on the chest too, I got the impression it was created by a man's tailor.
