Best of British Cocoon Coat

I found the sizing very large, unshapely and not at all flattering. It was returned to store.

I got a bargain in the sale with this so it was excellent value for what I paid. It fits well and looks stylish; the back is a bit bulky but that is part of the style. I look forward to wearing this throughout the autumn/winter.

Just picked up this beautiful coat after ordering online. Bought for the bargain price of £46.99 and worth every penny. In fact if I could have afforded to I would have bought it at full price - absolutely in love with the style and quality. I am only 5'2" and the length is perfect although I would have liked the arms an inch shorter but I can have it altered. I usually buy a 12 in a coat as I have a large chest but purchased it in a 10 and it really is perfect. Will be gorgeous to dress up or down.

quality of the fabric and finish excellent, but not an attractive cut if you are tall or have a large bust. Best of British seems to be targeting 5'3" to 5'5" customers only. Why are there no variable leg length in the trousers, you had fantastic suits that i could not buy as the trousers were ending on my calf. Ankle grazer trousers have to be just right to look cool and fashionable.

I particularly love the fabric and have been looking for a spring/summer coat well made enough to last for quite a few years. I have wanted this particular coat for an age and when I finally got my hands on it, I discovered that the cocoon shape made me look a bit odd around the shoulders. The lining, fabric and detailing was lovely though and so it was with real regret that I had to hand it back.

I tried this coat on out of curiosity. It is 'nice', no more than that. Not a great fit - I go out at the hip but this goes in and so consequently it is a bit big on the shoulders but not wide enough at the hip. It is, more importantly, eye-wateringly expensive. Sorry M&S but it would have had to be a wow when I put it on to even consider spending that much, and it just wasn't. Priced at about £150 too much.
