Ankle High Faux Fur Chunky Knit Slippers

Bought these online in a couple of sizes bigger than my little one's shoe size (I usually do this with furry slipper boots to make sure there's enough space!). They looked lovely and my daughter (age nearly two) really liked them, but we couldn't actually get them on - the entry was too narrow and her feet got stuck on the way in. Looked all over them in case I'd missed a zip or other opening, but couldn't find one. Went into the shop to try others on, and had to go three sizes too big to get them onto her. Sadly those were way too big on her feet, although she loved stomping round in them in the shop. I don't think she's got unusually wide ankles. I'd recommend these if you can try them on first or don't mind returning them, as they look great, wonderfully warm, and like they would have been really stable on her feet if they'd fitted.
