I thought this book was good because it is not done in to serious a way more enjoyable.

This is possibly the most abysmal failure of what could have been a really fun and educational opportunity as a sticker book. There is so much to learn about the Romans, as we still have such a large legacy of their Empire in our culture! (Look at our coinage?) However, this book's authors seem unable to bring anything of real educational value into this book, and instead a kind of puerile gutter 'humour' predominates. Imho, this doesn't deserve a place in M&S.

my nephew and god son are both studying Romans at school. This is a great Christmas treat with some educational value. Temptation was to start having a go myself! Lots of facts but fun and bright and engaging so the perfect combo to ensure they learn while thinking they are playing!!
