Leather Lace-up Derby Shoes with Airflex™

They were for my 15 year olds school prom. He looked really smart. He loved them.

Usually I find M&S formal shoes very good and comfortable. However this was the first time I tried buying shoes online. It didn't work at all well - these shoes were too long, too narrow and generally didn't fit well. Also they didn't have the solid soles I prefer. Had to return them and in future I'll probably only buy shoes in stores where you can try them on first.

Bought this pair about 3 months ago. Was very impressed to start with. Fit pretty well and very comfortable. But about 2 weeks ago, noticed that there was a slit between the heel and sole. The last pair of shoes from M&S lasted me for over a year without any hassle. All the other products I've bought from M&S over the years have been top class. But this one was disappointing.

I have been wearing versions of this shoe or about 15 years to work everyday and over the last three years the longevity of the shoe has deteriorated, I am just about to return my third pair of shoes to the store. The first two pairs slit between the heel and sole and now the final straw the third pair is now splitting down the heel. none of the pairs has lasted more than a year. Very disappointing. Customer services have been superb so far and always refunded the money or replaced with a new pair of shoe, but now a third pair, quality of the product or workmanship has definitely gone downhill

Dont take note of previous bad reviews on these. Shoes have lovely comfy leather & airflex sole makes these good should you have to stand or walk long periods at a time.

The shoes fits the bill with one exception. Breaking them in has been painful and has taken the skin off my heel, leaving my foot very sore and tender

Worst shoes I've ever bought. Crippled me in the space of 24 hours. Lucky I've got any heels left. Cost me more in plasters than cost of shoes. £50 down the pan. GA
