Satisfyingly Expensive

Was given as a gift so I wasn't aware of the price when I opened it. I served it with a prawn and scallop linguine and was absolutely blown away with the unbelievable quality of this wine (especially with it being a white C-d-D) it was that good I had to send out for another couple of bottles and yes a little surprised at the price but worth every penny. Thank you M & S wine buyers you always deliver when it comes to something a little special. Couldn't recommend this wine enough and is now my default white wine when fine dinning ;-)

I have tried a few different C-d-P Blanc's, and have to say this is my favourite, and one I go back to. When perfectly chilled, it's smooth and refreshing, and does not overpower delicate fish dish's.

We opened a bottle on Saturday night to have with some swordfish. It was absolutely delicious. Not too dry with bags of flavour. Just right for the end of summer.
