From the gravelly vineyards of the Wahluke Slope AVA, one of the warmest areas of Washington’s famous Columbia Valley. Winemaker Gordon Hill has not only graduated in viticulture in this state, he honed his art at one of its finest properties, Chateau Ste Michelle, for 23 years.

Tastes very much like an Australian shiraz, which is what I usually buy. Good balance of fruit and tannin, reasonably long finish.

I first became aware of this vineyard on a recent Celebrity cruise, trying to obtain this wine in the UK was difficult to say the least! It is an excellent wine that I would recommend to all !
