A great suit spoiled by form over function
No, I don't recommend this
This suit is a perfect fit and with the expanding trousers it means that they are still as comfortable after a meal as they were before it. The downside is that there are no external pockets on the jacket. The web site doesn't state it but the two front pockets are completely sewn up. They used to have tacking stitches so that the suit sat ok on the hangar but these were intended to be cut and then you had two useable pockets. Now it looks like the designer have done away with the pockets completely although, because of the pocket flaps still being in place, it looks like the pockets are still there. I wonder which designer came up with that idea?!?! So, if you are looking to buy an m & s suit and if you want pockets where they should be - beware!!!!

Good everyday suit
Yes, I recommend this
If you want an everyday "office wear" suit and don't need to make a fashion statement then this suit is ideal. It is affordable, hard wearing and looks smart. More expensive suits will be better tailored but this suit is perfectly acceptable for the price.

Suit is OK but watch for price changes - well annoyed to find 20% off promotion just a few days after purchase and M&S refusing to even off a partial refund to keep my loyalty. (I had previously owned an M&S Travel Suit which had lasted well for many years). So sadly John Lewis for suits now on - I can see why M&S is in such a mess!
