I have the 'wear your own bra', slip which is amazing but needed a strapless version. It did not fit right, especially when used strapless

Purchased this (along with two others) to help me look half decent for my son's wedding. Kept this one becasue it did give me a shape. Have worn all day and surprisingly it didn't make me hot. However it gave me shape but didn't reduce the appearance of my already ample bust.

very good, one little minus point is the cups are like Boadicea!

I am a 38E and do not need padding so that spoilt it rather. I felt that the stomach area did not have strong enough support either. Very light material but also rather too long in the body. Still looking for the perfect shape-wear.

Very large and very long so creased around your body as too much material so did not give a smooth line at all

It was impossible to get it on as it as too small to go over my hips. Consequently I cannot comment on how good it was regarding control or fit on the bust. The quality seemed to be very good. The service of ordering on the internet and collecting and returning to the shop was really good too and very quick.

Having read some of the reviews about this product I was a little unsure as to whether it would be a good buy .It's great ,I am a size 12 and take a 34DD bra normally and the sizing was spot on .It's very comfortable to wear not at all restricting in fact you don't know you've got it on.The reviews mentioned that the poppers could be a nuisance and keep coming undone, they don't. Best of all it really enhances your figure there are curves where there are supposed to be curves and no lines lumps and bumps .I'm going to get another. Love it

Im normally a 36FF and ordered a 36F after reading other reviews stating this body is a generous fit. It is a bit tricky to get on but once on its like a second skin and makes clothes look fabulous. I was so impressed I bought both colours! M&S please produce this body in white

It fits well & although it holds everything in place you don't feel uncomfortable. I brought it for the strapless option & it's great very supportive. A must have purchase

I bought the correct size but, like some of the other reviewers, I couldn't even get it past my knees - so I was unable to try it on and had to send it back (unworn) for a refund. As it was so small I felt it would have been really constricting to wear, so I'm giving this one a miss.

Despite my size (20-22), up until now I have relied on tights and good bras to rein everything in but adding age to the mix has made me see I need more help! I dreaded the 'suffocated and boiling hot' feeling of wearing a body but I needn't have worried. This new generation of fabrics, design and control is simply amazing and I had to spread the word that this is comfortable, invisible under dresses I had given up wearing because of the lumps and bumps and has made me inches smaller in every direction. My lumps and bumps have reduced dramatically and the overall shape is smooth and contained. It is worth the wriggling to get on. I bought a 40F, thinking that my bra size of 38G would equate to that, leaving a bigger bottom half for my bum and tum and it worked. I wouldn't have got into a 38 anything I suspect but the 40 worked like a dream. I am delighted with this purchase and wish I had stepped into the twilight zone of control underwear years ago! You won't be disappointed but maybe try before you buy...

being a 38f on the bust and having put on a little weight I bought this garment to try and give me back my silloette although it fitted well on the bust and did smooth out my lumps and bumps it was just to short on the body which made it uncomfortable to wear am returning garment

I prefer this type of cup fit as with other models they seem to cut me in half and are never big enough, whereas this sits fine. I like the VPL and wish they did more of their styles with this element. I do find that the bra straps slip after a while so I stitch them into the correct position - I also do this with the adjustable straps as otherwise I often find that as soon as I have the body on, the strap will come out of its holder and it's almost impossible to put the back ones in without taking the whole thing off. Another thing that I wish M&S would alter is the labelling on the strap part at the back - there are 3 labels there which are very uncomfortable and difficult to get to lie flat without help (unless you're a contortionist)! Apart from the above, I am happy with the fit and although the material seems very thin, it does do the job and gives a nice smooth line under clothes - I would buy this item again.

Good value for money, comfortable. Could be a little firmer in its tummy hold, but overall very good product.
