Colle Del Principe Prosecco
ABOUT THIS WINE:
The popularity of Prosecco is at an all time high and it's not surprising because it is a delightfully approachable sparkling white. This example is made by winemaker Alberto Fabretti from specially selected grapes grown on hills and plains in the Veneto and Friuli regions of Northern Italy. Recent changes in quality laws decreed that Prosecco became the appellation name and the grape re-named 'Glera' a historical reference.
Serving:
Prosecco is the ideal party fizz, serve well chilled as an aperitif and crack open a bottle at the merest hint of a celebration!

ABOUT THIS WINE:
Head winemaker Javier Brunet, perfects this sassy sparkler with three little-known grape varieties Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada, grown in the heady sunshine of the Catalonian coast. They may be little heard of elsewhere, but for Cava these three grapes are traditional and critical. No others would give such freshness and flawless purity.

Villiera Brut Natural Chardonnay 2008
ABOUT THIS WINE:
This fine sparkling wine is from South Africa's most famous wine region, Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. It has been made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in environmentally friendly vineyards and produced in the same careful, meticulous way as used in Champagne. The result is a sparkling wine of great finesse with complex and delicious layers of flavour. The winemakers are Jeff Grier and Anton Smai.
SERVING:
Serve lightly chilled. This wine is a refreshing and sophisticated aperitif or celebration wine on its own, or try partnering it with savoury canapés, shellfish or light white fish starters.

ABOUT THIS WINE:
Formally known as Prosecco Raboso, and now re-named 'Rose Spumante' due to changes in legislation. Colle del Principe is nevertheless a high quality Italian Sparkler. It is made from a combination of Pinot Noir, Raboso, 'Glera' (previously named 'Prosecco') and Trebbiano grapes specially selected from high quality vineyards.
SERVING:
Years gone by, Rose would have been considered a Summer tipple but such is the popularity of this delightful fizz that it makes the perfect all year round choice. Perfect of parties and celebrations more and more people are using it for weddings and other special occasions.

Cava Arte Latino Rosado
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Winemaker Marta Fontanals chooses gnarly 30-year old Trepat and Pinot Noir vines for her grape selection. It's these vines that give this wine extra concentration and richness and together with the classic second fermentation in bottle (the way the world's best sparkling wines get their fizz) they are what generate the warm smoothness in this wine. Trepat is a quirky Spanish variety renowned for the perfect delicate pink colour it gives to rosé wines.
SERVING:
Great on its own, or partner this merry pink fizz with canapés like baby yorkshire puds, smoked duck and goats cheese, or chicken Caesar tartlets. Or serve as an accompaniment to poached or smoked salmon, in salad or on blinis. Delicious to chill and serve with strawberries and red fruits too.

Réserve de Sours Sparkling Rosé NV
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Réserve de Sours originally dates back to the 14th century. The current house was built in 1792 by the Comtes du Richémont, who survived the French Revolution and subsequently renovated the property and planted its first vines and after whom this wonderful rosé wine is named. Over the past 5 years the property has once again been renovated and restored to its former glory by proprietors Martin and Nicolette Krajewski and now produces a fine range of excellent wines.
SERVING:
The perfect aperitif and delicious whenever celebrations dictate a high quality sparkler, try this as a serious alternative to Champagne!
