Excellent value I wasn't sure about buying dark furniture ,I had wanted the sonoma light but the piece I wanted was not available at the time. The size is excellent. I agree that the drawers could have been deeper but then I think it would have made the piece a little to high (for me anyway). The quality is excellent and the guys who delivered it and put it together were polite and very nice , this impressed me before and was a big part of going with marks again. As for being dark, I'm a fan of furniture from the 30's and this reminded me of it once in situ. All in all regardless of the style you choose I would recomend marks for the service and quality of the product alone. 07 April 2012

nice bit of furniture The dark wood really goes well with my sons dark brown leather bed frame. only fault the drawers could do with being a little deeper. 02 November 2011

Beautiful piece of furniture Really like the quality of the chest but because the drawers are not removable, it is very heavy indeed. At first it looked as though the delivery men would not be able to lift it up the stairs, so moving it from its present position to another room will require 2 strong men! 30 September 2011
