Senior Girls' Lined Pencil Skirt with Stormwear™
Far too small!
I bought these for my skinny-as-a-rake 13 year old (I'd already tried the age 14), but they were so tight she couldn't even do up the zip. How the average 15 year old is supposed to fit them I have no idea. They're nice skirts, but of absolutely no practical use.

Well done, M&S!
Senior pencil skirt, 31.5 inch waist. My 12 year old is 5ft 5inches (1.65m), built like an Amazon and growing exponentially. School uniform has been a nightmare to find this year, but at least we now have skirts that fit, comply with school regulations on length (these are about an inch above the knee on her) and actually look stylish. These are the 31.5 inch waist, which fit her with a little growing space round the middle.
My only gripes are that the material is very thin and the skirts relatively expensive, however, they are lined, well made & designed and so far have washed well. Most importantly, my girl likes them, so overall, a good buy, but not for mid-winter!

Perfect school uniform skirt
Needed plain black skirt with no pleats for my granddaughter's choir uniform and this skirt looks perfect.

Too big on waist
This skirt is much too big on the waist for my (slim, but not scrawny) 12-y-o. She is only 140cm tall so bought the 10, sized at 140cm, but waist comes in at 26".
My low rating is not for the skirt itself, which is nice, and probably looks great if it fits, it is for the lack of garment dimensions info on the site. The dimensions are quite different from for example the stretchy skirt. We had to buy the 146 cm in that style as 140 out of stock - waist on that one actually smaller!
Fine to make your clothes different shapes - girls after all are different shapes, but PLEASE give specific info so we can match the garment to the child! I am weary of all this hit-and-miss!
