Good quality leather brogue
I have always wanted to buy a leather sole brogue. This one came with a 20% off - fitted my budget. I am pleased with the purchase - good looks and comfortable inside. I am wearing this to work for one week now. Only point to improve is the sole is very sturdy, does not bend when walking - I get a 'donald duck' feeling. Hopefully with usage this should become ok,

The only shoes my husband wears for work and he has afew pairs on the go. Smart looking, comfortable and durable.

Great shoes for a special occasion
These are beautifully made brogues that are intended to look really 'smart'. They are about 1/3 of the price of a well known upmarket British brand and to be honest, are just as comfortable and give the same effect. I wore them all day for a wedding and they looked just as good when I took them off as when I put them on. Although one of the older generation at the function, I noticed that many younger guests wore a similar style so I don't think that this classic fashion is only suited to a particular age range. I did originally try them on in the shop but, although they fitted well, they were the last pair in my size and the level of shine was different on the leather of the shoes. I ordered a fresh pair on line in the shop and had them delivered to another branch to be picked up. A perfect match this time! They were delivered on my chosen day. A great service. I am more than pleased.

dont go anywhere near water or rain with these!!
smart initial appearance although the leather on top creases very quickly rendering a scruffy appearance in no time at all.
I am, and have been all my adult life, a size 8, but I had to buy a size 7 and they are still too long in the toe.
Now to the main complaint! In the dry they are good, in the wet they are absoloutely dreadful! The soles soak up water like its going out of fashion and cause very wet feet very quickly!
Tip - buy for dry, formal, occasional occasions...dont buy if going to wear frequently or when its raining!
