ABOUT THIS WINE: The relatively cool Sancerre area of France's Loire Valley produces elegant and attractive wines, including delicious, high quality rosé. This is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Sancerre, and winemaker Fabrice Robineau has used modern techniques, including cool temperature formation, to retain the maximum aroma and fresh fruit flavours in the wine. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap - our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.
SERVING: Serve lightly chilled. It is a refreshing and sophisticated aperitif, or try it with light canapés and starters, preferably made from white fish or seafood, or drink with very mild cheeses.
KEEPING: Enjoy this delicate wine while it is young and fruity. Open it within 3 months of purchase, and once started, keep the resealed bottle in the fridge between servings.
Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol

A pleasant surprise June 1, 2009
Reviewed by: Vee E (Lancashire, UK) See All My Reviews
This rose wine will surprise you from the moment you pour it into your glass. It's colour is more amber than pink and is one of the smoothest, dry rose wines I have drunk so far this year.
But of course, you won't like it so that leaves more for me!!
