Delicious
The Husband and I thought this was delicious with delightful flavour and good body. At this price, not an everyday wine but certainly one to try and savour. 2005 was an excellent vintage so I intend to snap up some more of this and try to keep it for a couple of years (some hope)!

Good, but not amazing
Reading "complex Paulliac" and "2005," I bought half a dozen for special occasions. I tried the first bottle last weekend.
It was good but not as complex or full bodied as I expected. Instead of saving it for special occasions, I am going to enjoy it on normal weekends.

OK for its price. Not brilliant.
The price of this wine is more than what I would normally pay, so I bought them (half dozen) for special occasions. Having said that I had to (of course) tasted one bottle and to be honest, I was not overly impressed. It was nice but nothing like 'wow' moment. This may be because I prefer more robust, full body wines in general.

Pure luxury in a bottle!
Whilst not cheap, this is pure luxury. An intoxicating perfumed nose and a powerful, velvety palate of black cherries and toasty vanilla from oak casks. Full-bodied with high but sweet, well-integrated tannins and a finish that last forever. This ripe, polished, minerally wine is pure Pauillac. An excellent vintage (2005). I would guess that it should last at least another decade, when will no doubt evolve even further. Keep a bottle for special occasions.
