Marks & Spencer offers a generous goodwill returns policy which is in addition to your legal rights. When you return unwanted items, please provide proof of purchase - either a receipt for items bought in store or your parcel summary document for items bought online.
CLOTHING & HOMEWARE
Unwanted items can be returned for exchange or full refund provided they are returned within 35 days of purchase with a valid receipt or parcel summary document.
If items are returned with an expired receipt or parcel summary document or without any receipt, we will offer you a credit receipt or exchange to the value of the last known selling price.
Please return the item to a UK store (except Simply Foods and Outlet stores) or for items bought online, you can post it back to us using the label provided. Postage is free from UK addresses.
Please note that we will only refund or exchange bedding such as pillows and duvets if they have not been opened.

If your curtain or cushion order is made specifically for you, once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation may be made. It is therefore very important that you check your measurements prior to payment.
FURNITURE (Except delivery only furniture)
Once you have taken delivery of your furniture, we are only able to offer a refund in accordance with your legal rights, for example if the goods are not fit for purpose or as described. If there is a problem with your furniture, please call our furniture customer services team on 0845 762 4624.

THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
If you have purchased a non-perishable item online or by phone from a catalogue, you have legal rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.
Which products are excluded from the returns policy?
These products can only be returned in accordance with your legal rights.
Please note, bedding such as duvets and pillows can only be returned if they are unopened.
Technology products are sold with a sticker warning that the product cannot be returned if the sticker is removed. Once the packaging has been opened, these products can only be returned in accordance with your legal rights. All technology products are covered for faults by our guarantee. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions. Please keep your parcel summary document for the duration of the guarantee period, as proof of date of purchase.
Wedding dresses and adult fancy dress costumes can only be returned by post.
