M&S has always believed that regional producers are important for delivering high quality food and supporting local communities. For example we’ve been working with some of our Scottish suppliers, who produce a wide range of quality Scottish products, for over 50 years. From them, we source the best the country has to offer, including Aberdeen Angus beef, Muir Den™ pork, strawberries, organic shortbread and Kenmore whisky, to name just a few.

As well as supporting regional producers and farmers, we’re also passionate about being a fair partner. This forms an important part of our Plan A campaign, where as a fair partner, we will do everything we can to improve people’s livelihoods and help communities flourish. By trading fairly, we want to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in our supply chain including our local communities.
