Shockingly huge. Perfect for the circus and children's parties. Not so good for Black Tie events where future employers are likely to be scrutinising you. Was so huge and comedic, all that was missing was a plastic bunch of flowers and a squirt of water.

Not huge, but not a small bow tie. There is nothing wrong with this and it is a nice bow tie. Plus in my opinion a black bow tie should be on the chunky side. Just to let you know what to expect

Instructions on the back of the box show you how to tie it. I had no difficulties with it. Also possible to use it as a pre-tied bow. The length slider on the back can unhook, so once you've managed to tie the perfect bow, you can keep it tied and use the buckle to put it on and off.

Bought this for my son who is in the UOTC at University and not allowed to wear pre-tied bow ties plus it looks cool worn untied. This tie must be good as his first one was stolen and he asked for the same again!! He is over 6' 6' and solid build and has not had a problem with the length.
