Petite Flat Front Zip Pocket Slim Leg Trousers

Usually struggle to get trousers to fit but these although slightly generous on the waist fit very well on hips and thighs . Could only get the longer length in Cambridge but shortened them myself and the material was fantastic to work with which made it v.easy. Love the material heavier weight which allows them to hang well , doesnt crease and maintains good appearance. Very versatile day to evening - very smart. Critism - needs a belt loop on the center back waist- made mine out of trimmings from shortening legs. Wearing well four weeks on becoming a mainstay of my summer wardrobe - buying another pair incase M/S dont restock. Quite like the zips at least they are silver and not a horrible 'gold' as some I've tried on . V. Well Made .

These trousers are smart and comfortable to wear. I love the material which adds to the look - definitely recommend.

I was looking for suitable trousers for work. A combination of good price coupled with easy wear. I did not like the material at all in these trousers and the colour was altogether strange. In summary, disappointed.

I bought the same style in black last Autumn and they were great, an excellent quality. Unfortunately these were a different fit, way too large at the waist, and I had to return them.

I'm extremely happy with this purchase. The trousers are smart, comfortable and a perfect fit. I struggle to find slim cut, short trousers and these are perfect.

These trousers are tidy and well cut in a reasonably heavy fabric. Although I bought petite size 6, they are still slightly too large at the waist and I need to wear a belt. They would look better without the zippers or perhaps M&S could put smaller, lighter zippers on the small sizes. Trouser length was perfect for me at 5ft 2in. Overall, I would recommend them for office wear.

Described online as 'fits on waist'. Label on garment 'sits below waist'. Label correct, hence I returned garment. Shame, as I have same in black (16) but a slightly smaller cut which improved the fit. Please get your facts right M&S. Not the first time this has happened. Very frustrating. The M&S Petite is small enough as it is and extremely bland.

These trousers are a replacement for a fantastic pair I bought from M&S many years ago and cannot buy again because they are discontinued (real shame!) since they still look and feel new - they were definitely a 5 star product on all counts. With these trousers, the immediate impression is that they make you feel really good as soon as you put them on. Close fitting and excellent quality fabric. Zips are just for decoration - I'd be more than happy if these were left off. I am personally not keen on trousers that sit on the hips - not my style at all but since I wear long tops it really doesn't matter and they are so comfortable, I chose to keep them. However, after just a couple of wearings there already seems to be some suggestion of potential bobbling between the tops of the inside legs - too early to say if this is going to be a problem - but if it is, the quality of the fabric suggests the trousers will need to be discarded a long time before they have in fact worn out.

Length - good. Waist - good. Top of legs and stomach area baggy and looked like I was wearing a nappy. Most unflattering.

Having already purchased a black pair the fit being perfect I expected the grey pair to be the same but they varied in fit, length and quality .

I ordered these in 12 petite as I'm 5'1", but they were far too short and had to be returned in favour of 12 short regular fitting, which I will have to shorten a bit. Fabric seems good quality and the colour is a true charcoal which will make a change from black or navy. Not worn them yet so cannot comment on how they will wash.

I ordered Size 14 Short on line only to find when I collected them, they were cropped trousers. This was not mentioned at all in the description of the trousers.
