Padstow Hove Armchair
Bought this for my daughter and husband who have quite a small house. It is well made, very stylish and really comfortable. Taking up very little floor space, it is Ideally used for that extra chair when visitors arrive. Being very light, it is easy to move around from one room, where it is very pretty in the corner, to another for use. It's even small enough for an extra chair at the dining table.
Of course if you wanted to use it on a day to day basis, it is comfortable enough, and unlike many cane style chairs ( I don't think it's made of cane) it is quite rigid.
At full price it's a little expensive, but we got it during a "20% off" week so that made it better value. They are so pleased with it, they have ordered another... Shame they couldn't get the 20% off though!!

I bought two of these chairs. They are stylish, comfortable and light enough to move around the house to where they are needed. My only complaint is that the delivery men really do come at 7 a.m. when you get a 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. delivery slot.

Nice chair, suitable for bedroom or conservatory
Very pleased with this chair. Bought it for a bedroom, and it is just right. Not too large, fits in well with other 'Padstow' design pieces. Light enough to be moved when extra chair might be needed on social occasions. Only comment - seat cushion is not generous. Have provided extra cushion for colour and comfort!

a chair for everything
We bought two of these chairs as 'spare' chairs to use when visitors/friends come and we run out of seating. Because they are the right height they can be used at the dining table as well as in the sitting room. They would look great in a bedroom too. If desired, they could also be taken outside, but not left to the elements as they are not designed for that. I would agree with other reviewers that the cushions are a bit thin but I knew that before I bought them, so was not disappointed. We are very pleased with these chairs - a good buy - they are so versatile.
