Double check the size
This is a lovely looking, good quality dress. Unfortunately I bought age 5 for my 4 year old daughter and it is much too short - it looks fine when she is stood still but rides up when she is running and playing. I have yet to try her in the age 6 dress but fear that these may be too big around the top.

Very small fitting
M&S uniforms are always good quality & value for money. However, I find that this year's Summer dress range comes up very small. My daughter is only 8, but is above average height & very broad across the shoulders. I bought the largest size possible (14) & found they were far too tight across the shoulders. They were definitely not size 14!!! I have one very disappointed 8yo who was so looking forward to wearing summer dresses this year.

Go bigger on the size!
Very good quality dresses, hardly need ironing and appear to be VERY hard wearing. I bought them over the Internet so I did have to approximate the sizing, but the age range came up very small. For my 4 year old I first bought the 5-6 year size but ended up needing the 6 - 7 age range, which is a perfect fit for her
