A vintage champagne with wonderful balance and finesse. Bright gold, with a persistent stream of fine bubbles. It has rich layers of warm brioche and cream freshened by a lighter citrus note.

ABOUT THIS WINE:A very special Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the prestigious "grand cru" villages of the Côte des Blancs in the Champagne region of north-east France. Such "blanc de blancs" champagnes have a particularly creamy, fine character. This example was made in the excellent 1998 vintage. The winemaker was the highly experienced Alain Coharde Champagne
