Old Vines Grenache Noir 2012 - Case of 6
A lovely wine, worth the price...
This wine, with its attractive label promises much, and, happily delivers a great deal, too.
On opening the bottle, the bouquet immediately excites - notes of damson, berries and cream. Plenty of dessert overtones here.
This is a deeply coloured wine which quickly develops in the glass. The initial damson impression develops, with the addition of log fire aromas, and, eventually an almost port-like presence.
The tannins diminish, and the depth increases.
A lovely wine, and a real delight to experience.

Nicely balanced fruit
I like this, easy drinking, plenty of fruit and little tannin. Has a nice rounded feel and a little depth and complexity to finish.

A gorgeous wine!
I like a red wine that is absolutely full of flavour but is not too strong on the tannins. This wine ticks all the boxes for me. It has multi-layered flavours, an underlying hint of sweetness, and just enough sharpness to tell you that you are drinking wine and not a fruit cordial! It is one of the best, if not THE best, red wine I have ever tasted.

A Must buy..
Lovely full bodied wine, ideal with a generous RibEye steak. Good flavour with an easy low tanin aftertaste.
