First experience of ordering wine from Marks and Spencers. I ordered 12 bottles for Christmas - 4 as presents, 6 for Christmas and 2 for now (taste tester!!). All I can tell you is that it will be a miracle if they last to Christmas week. Very nice taste, Shiraz one of my favourite and this Shiraz is my favourite Shiraz. Cant wait to try the Pinot Grigio I also bought for Christmas (safely locked away in garage !!)

On the occassions that full tasting, heavy ,fruity wines are not appropriate then this wine certainly filts the bill. Still has good taste but has a much lighter feel that enables this wine to be taken on its own or with light snacks on a warm pleasant afternoon. Good value and is excellent for parties.

Different label different wine

Having been a fan of this wine for many years and consumed more than my fair share, I was disappointed to discover that this years vintage is not on the same par as previous years. The label being different is not a problem, but perhaps was a subtle hint that the contents would also differ. This wine not only lacks the depth and taste of previous years, but also alcohol content, down from 14% to 12.5%!! What's happening M&S?
