Delighted
As you would expect from M & S, the product, customer service, delivery & installation was first-class. I purchased 4 chairs and they were all assembled on site by the delivery man to a high standard. They have a quality feel and look, with stunning chrome and real leather and they are extremely comfortable, even after 8-10 hours a day in front of a computer. Highly recommended!

Excellent office chair
We purchased two of these for our office. We had to wait some four weeks for them to be delivered which was somewhat frustrating as like most purchases, you want them straight away. We received a text a couple of days before delivery to confirm time etc and the delivery guys put together the chairs quickly and efficiently. There were a few small marks on the chrome but we were not too bothered by these. However the solvent smell from the fabric is rather offensive and is still with us after three days and we have to have the door open to the office to try and purify the air a little!
Apart from this, the chairs are heavy and good quality (probably made in China) and they are far superior than the ones we chaucked into the skip!
Overall.........pretty good.

Deceptive photos
This "dark brown" chair is as good as black in colour. It is clear that M&S has changed design or supplier as only the 5th photo on the website shows the chair I received. It has a different style arm, but, critically, is not the brown of the four original photos. Even customer services think the 5th photo is of the black chair. It took me some time to get M&S to take it back. The web photos are a misrepresentation. Only buy this chair if you are happy with black. Or you could just buy the black one!

Great delivery service and super comfy chair
The updates we received prior to delivery were extremely helpful, the driver even phoned to ask if it was ok to deliver the chair half an hour early. The chair itself is very comfy and a lovely colour - definitely dark brown and not nearly black as others have said. My only criticisms are it smells a bit of solvents - hopefully this is just the glue or tanning gassing out - and there are a couple of very small imperfections (1mm lumps) on the surface which are too minor to warrant a return, but are noticeable.
In general a great addition to my home office. Lumbar support is perfect and the seat is a lot warmer than I was expecting.
