  Odfjell is a beautifully scenic estate in the western reaches of Chile's sunny Maipo Valley, an area renowned for its outstanding red wines. The vineyards grow on gentle slopes; higher up these hills, Norwegian horses run freely (when they're not helping with the harvest or farm work). Winemaker Arnaud Hereu is a great believer in making drinkable, elegant wines rather than blockbusters; he matured a quarter of this Syrah blend in old oak barrels for a subtle roundnes
