Choosing the Perfect Bedding

Natural duvets are the most breath-able, which helps regulate body temperature. These duvets will mould to your shape to
create a warm cocoon.

Duvets with natural fillings are lighter. Natural fillings can trap more warm air than synthetic fillings. This means that natural
duvets don't need as much filling as synthetic duvets and will be lighter than a synthetic duvet with the same tog rating.

We have natural duvets with feather and down fillings, or wool, silk and cotton for feather allergy sufferers. All our natural
ranges ranges are machine washable at 40°C

Feather and down duvets are lighter and softer than duvets with a man-made filling.

The fibres are able to absorb any moisture that your body loses during the night, making them more breathable (the moisture is released when the duvet is aired).

All of our feather and down duvets use the best box construction to make sure the fillings are evenly distributed. Each section, or ‘box’, is individually filled to keep the fillings in place and prevent any cold spots. We recommend that you shake the duvet regularly (every morning ideally) to keep the filling in the right place.
Feather and down mix is very durable and, with proper care can last far longer than man-made bedding.

Feather and down duvets are completely washable – in fact washing regenerates it by fluffing up the feathers The duvets and pillows can all be machine washed but we do recommend professional laundering because the bedding must be dried thoroughly to make sure it doesn’t develop any odour or mould.
