ABOUT THIS WINE: The Moscato grape is famous for its light, sweet aromatic sparkling wine. Normally from near Asti, these grapes come from further afield, from Piedmont in North West Italy. To add an extra dimension we've added the unusual local red grape Freisa.

SERVING: This kind of light, sweet refreshing sparkling wine works well as an aperitif or with dessert, especially strawberries. Serve chilled around 7°C.
KEEPING: Enjoy now or drink within 6 months of purchase. As this wine is sparkling, once opened, it is best consumed within a few hours, although it may be kept for 1-2 days if resealed with a champagne stopper and stored in the refrigerator between servings.

Absolute perfection

This wine is absolute perfection. My husband and I only drink medium sweet/sweet wine and this is the best we have ever tasted. We have even found that relations who normally ownly drink red wine adore this wine. We have bought 3 cases, so far, and cannot praise this wine highly enough. We just can't get enough of it - although we obviously drink in moderation.

The Best Sparkling Wine

This wine is without doubt the best sparkling wine that my husband and I have ever tasted. Although sweet, even friends who usually only drink dry wines adore this wine. The first taste is of lovely sweet strawberries and it just gets better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a summer drink in the garden.

Just as suggested on the Saturday Kitchen programme, this wine is perfect with desserts or on its own. Good value for money, v sweet and fruity and great with meringues!
