Lovely
I bought this product for myself. The design is lovely and very Cath Kidston esque- one of my faves at the moment for homeware.
The space for entering your own recipies is quite small if you like to write lengthy instructions and have massive writing, however, I do not struggle to put my recipies in and if they are slightly longer I simply continue on the next box and put 'contd' at the start.
There are handy pouches for putting cut outs in and if you run out of space there is loads of extra space on each page and I like to stick mine in.
The recipies in the book vary and are quite basic- but this is PERFECT for a novice like myself! The book is in handy sections for mains and desserts.
The introduction is brilliant and goes through all the basics and the not so basic! (I quizzed my mum who is a very good cook and she didnt know all the terms!) As well as recommending how to use a large range of ingredients.

Disappointed - not enough space for writing
Very disappointed with this - the sections you get for writing in your own recipes are far too small - you need a page per recipe to write clearly and in sufficient detail, not less than a quarter...yet you had whole pages for 'hints and tips'. Far too many unwanted printed recipes and pages giving uneceessary information such as what tomato ketchup is or what the word 'beat' means. Complete waste of space. Nowhere to stick your own recipes, and only 2 small recipe pockets. To call it a recipe keeper is something of a misnomer as there is hardly anywhere to keep recipes and barely any space for writing. To add insult to injury I found the same book (different cover) for £1.99 in a local bookstore. I have had to ask for a new book for Christmas - this time a refillable book with plenty of space from a different shop. This one will be going, un-used, to a charity shop.
