Surprisingly great in a modern flat Really couldn't decide if this was going to work in my very modern flat but it's perfect. Bought the sideboard & the shelving top and it brings a really homely & classic feel to my room but still looks up to date fitting in a really modern setting. Love the pale grey putty colour of the painted finish - makes this more contemporary than a cream colour would be. Tones nicely with the grey butchers block too. Delivery guys brilliant as always - on time, called in advance, polite & friendly, no fuss on issues with London parking or with navigating apartment block stairs, all rubbish taken with them, love that they put it all together for you. 04 December 2012

Could be stronger Unfortunately the top shelf bowed in the middle after placing my china on it. A stronger upright central pillar is necessary. Have now to find another place to put my china. This unit was bought to hold my special china. 26 October 2012

Padstow Dresser The dresser is lovely good quality and goes perfect with the chairs was so pleased have now orders console table as well. 06 June 2012

Complements base unit Good quality shelving unit that complements the sideboard base unit . However would have preferred it if the shelves had been enclosed by plain glazed doors. 12 July 2011
