Microwavable Egg Poacher
Not easy to gauge end result
Despite repeated attempts and discard of eggs, I was unable to achieve the required results for a poached egg. I purchased apaches egg pan instead.

Worst purchase ever
Absolute rubbish - yolk rock hard, white not cooked! Just tear your money up in the street instead!

Despite following the instructions and very thoroughly pricking the eggs, the top blew off and had to waste time cleaning a brand new microwave. Tried a second time, this time almost scrambling the eggs, and this worked marginally better, but the ridge detailing make the item very hard to get clean. Unless you have time to waste scrubbing things clean, steer well clear.

Needs a bit of experimenting but then easy peasy
I wanted a quick solution for poaching eggs, I have already purchased the microwave steamer and cannot praise it enough.
My first use the eggs did explode, however if you add a couple of drops of water to the egg poacher, crack an egg in and then pierce the yolk a couple of times it works well, I microwave (900w) mine for 40 seconds, give them a minutes rest then microwave them again for another 10 or 20 seconds depending on the egg size, this leaves a slightly soft yolk and a firm white. So quick and so easy but experiement first for your microwave.
