not M & S usual quality
I have been buying M & S furniture for a long time. In fact my last sofa and chair lasted 12 years! I wanted a small chair for my garden room but the first of these was so faulted and the replacement was still not perfect , even after I had requested a quality control check. This is definitely not up to M & S standards.

I bought this chair, with discount, at £139 and to be honest, it looks it!
Little padding on the top frame, the seaming and shape on front of the 'arms' quite poor, even after trimming the loose threads. Finish of the underside of the chair poor and visible. All in all, it matches my curtains but as a finish to the room it is a disappointment.

I received delivery of my Melua Armchair in Meridian Stone today. The chair is a good shape and colour and looks quite stylish and contemporary. There is not much in the way of padding on the frame which makes the seat quite firm to sit on. Fortunately, I only wanted it as an occasional seat and so it is fine for my purpose. If you manage to get this chair on offer as I did for £139 then it is good value for money but I would not have liked to pay full price for it. I also have two Emmett Tub chairs which retail for the same price and, of the two, I feel that the Emmett chair is by far the better purchase.
