mishaped plates
The plates are simple and a clean looking.
However they are not all of the same shape, when stacked in a pile, it is clear that some of the plates are misshaped and do not stack properly.
They look like they should have be sold as 'seconds'. Not the quality that I would expect from M&S. If you want good quality plates do not buy these.

Good basic dinner plates
I bought these to replace exactly the same ones that had got a bit battered. I had the previous ones for about five years and were used every day....and they were great. I often used them for dinner parties as they looked fine and matched my white china. I have been very happy with them.

Maxim Dinner Service
Great value great style. This is my second set one for best and one set now for everyday. So much nicer to use than thick china.Looks smart.

Looks and feels expensive
I wanted a stylish but inexpensive dinner service and looked at many different brands. You can spend a fortune if you want to: I didn't. This service offers fabulous value for money: it looks very expensive but you needn't take out a bank loan to buy it!
