I sent this wine for my friends birthday and inadvertently sent myself some,but was disappointed that it arrived in a black and white cardboard box and not in the woodenbox as advertised and still being advertised in a wooden box..Also the red one was la vita piemonte barbera and not la vita montepulciano! Im sure she still enjoyed it,but I felt the wooden box just made the wine a nicer gift.

I have just received this item. To my great disappointment the wooden box is badly split in several places. It is a gift to be given next week and my husband is desperately trying to repair the box with glue and rubber bands. Presentation was to be most important. Do not know what the wine rating will be but I will most certainly not be ordering this again.

This gift I have given to the person before, then they loved it as they did this time. The white wine was a lovely dry Italian which was nice and smooth and refreshing. The red was a nice Italian fruity and full bodied. They are packed in a wooden case which gives the nice finish to the gift. I sent the gift because I had tried the wine myself in the past and I will buy again as a gift and to drink myself.
