Hamilton Dinner Plate
I bought this set to replace a 15 year old very cheap set. Love the style but they very quickly have chipped, plates and bowls, leaving them looking cheap and grotty. They do not get rough treatment, just me living on my own and my last set of crockery was chip free when I threw it away after 15 years use to replace it with this. I need to replace again now a year down the line and will not be buying Marks and Spencer, sorry. A real disappointment.

Today just bought to more of the dinner plates, to go with the same dinner set, washed and put them in the cupboard, to find the plates are bigger, so door won't shut probably which is a pain.

Great looking but be warned when microwaving
I bought this range as a replacement for my 25 year old marks &spencer service that we were using daily. Unfortunately I have now had 2 pasta bowls crack and one dinner bowl crack whilst reheating in the microwave. I have now returned to using my original service if I need to reheat.
We donot have a dishwasher and there are only 2 adults in the house so they donot get abused in any way. My old Provence M&S service still looks good and has been used throughout my family growing up and still looks good today. I really cannot see this service lasting .

Stylish, but not ovenproof
Looks really stylish, it is strong, dishwasher, microwave safe but not ovenproof. Worrying that a few days after paying for a replacement plate that the price was cut.
