Domed Wall Clock
Unfortunately we are taking our clock back tomorrow because after having tried three batteries it still won't run for more than a few hours. We won't however be replacing it for the following two reasons.
Firstly the clock has a tick which is loud enough to be annoying when sitting in a quiet room with it. This isn't typical of other quartz clocks that we own and I don't believe that it is anything to do with the faulty mechanism.
Secondly the clock has got a high gloss finish. This combined with the domed face means that there are many reflections from surrounding windows in the surface of the clock particularly in the location where we had it in the conservatory. This glossy finish makes the the rusty antique design of the clockface look very unconvincing.
Other than this the clock did look good on the brick walls of the conservatory although the frameless design did not look so good against a plain plastered wall.
These issues may well not be a problem for most people.

This clock is lovely but it's not cream as it looks in the picture, it's actually green. Unfortunately had to send it back as didn't go in the room I wanted it for.

Very pleased with the clock which keeps good time. I, like another reviewer, bought it as a bit of a momento of Thornbury as I used to live there when I was young! I may set the clock in a wood surround, as I do wood carving, and I think it would look good with oak leaves and acorns around it!

This clock is lovely and looks great on my wall. It is more green than it appears but luckily that suits the room.
I would buy it again.
